Christ Church Covid and Disaster Relief Fund (CCCDRF)

An urgent meeting of the Church Committee was convened on 15/05/2021, to discuss immediate relief measures to be undertaken during this period of Covid pandemic and natural calamities, in concurrence with our Government and Diocese.

It was decided to constitute “Christ Church Covid and Disaster Relief Fund (CCCDRF)” immediately and to undertake the following relief measures:

  • Contribute medical kits worth Rs.50000/- to Covid clinic in General Hospital
  • Contribute Rs.2000/- each to 50 deserving families of our outstation churches
  • Contribute Rs.5000/- each to 6 helpers in Adoor district
  • Distribute grocery kits to migrant workers attending Hindi Worship Service
  • Supply food packets to members of our church where all family members turn Covid positive
  • Give support to people affected by natural calamities
  • Contribute Rs.50000/- to Bishop’s Covid Relief Fund as first instalment

It was decided to constitute a Guidance Cell comprising the Diocesan Council members, area conveners and doctor members of our church to provide guidance and possible assistance/support to Covid affected families identified by respective area conveners. It was also decided to mobilize funds urgently from our church members, to carry out these activities on extreme humanitarian grounds.
