Golden Age Fellowship

The Golden Age Fellowship, founded in the year 1995, aims at harnessing the rich experience of the seniors of the Church for mutual benefit as well as for the overall benefit of the Christ Church community.

The Fellowship addresses the problems of old age and assists its members to lead happy, peaceful and hopeful days. In order to achieve its objectives the Fellowship arranges worship, Bible studies, speeches by prominent resource persons on topics of general interests to aged people, seminars, discussions, get together meetings, excursions, visits to the sick and the aged, and visits to orphanages, Old Age Homes and charity homes at intervals.

The Sesquicentennial Celebrations saw the Golden Age Fellowship taking the lead to honour and felicitate 90 senior members of the Church, aged 80 years and over, with woollen shawls at the Great Family Reunion. The initiative was widely acclaimed.

The fellowship had collected Rs. 3,50,000/- for the construction of a church at Issepetta Village in Andhra Mission as a Jubilee Project. The consecration of the Church was attended by several members of the Fellowship.
